The main destination of this sightseeing tour is Maracas Beach, the most popular beach in northern Trinidad. After a quick exploration of Port of Spain, you'll journey via the Saddle Road to this beautiful getaway. Magnificent views await you on this 3.5 hour journey.

Visit Trinidad's highlights on this comprehensive, half-day guided tour. You'll pass by the lighthouse, the striking Parliament building known as the Red House as well as the Magnificent Seven, a row of imposing colonial houses originally built at the turn of the century as private residences. Continuing around the Queens Park Savannah, you'll make a brief stop at the tropical Botanical Gardens, a cool shady enclave of exotic trees and tropical flowers.

Then, it's a short drive to Lady Young Lookout for an excellent panoramic view of Port of Spain. Departing, you'll head for Santa Cruz Valley with its endless cocoa and coffee plantations. Heading south out of Port of Spain and down the west coast, your circle island journey begins. You'll see the spectacular scenery of places such as the Gulf of Paris, Mayaro Beach, and Manzanilla. You will also visit the town of San Fernando, the second largest city of Trinidad.

This tour gives all passengers the opportunity to truly understand the lifestyle in Trinidad and Tobago while visiting many of the famous landmarks. A great and educational way to view the best the island has to offer, including the agricultural belt, rapid industry and stunning nature.

Heading south out of Port of Spain and down the west coast, your circle island journey begins. You'll see the spectacular scenery of places such as the Gulf of Paris, Mayaro Beach, and Manzanilla. You will also visit the town of San Fernando, the second largest city of Trinidad.

The journey then takes you eastward, into areas overlooking the lush coconut palms which fringe the 14 mile (22.5 km) Mayaro Beach. On the return, travel through Manzanilla, cocoa plantations and Virgin Forest all on the East Coast of the island.

Leaving Manzanilla, you will pass through the picturesque towns of Sangre Grande and Arima before traveling through the east-west corridor and back to the Port of Spain.

Begin your tour on the Wrightson road waterfront and continue to the old and new Port of Spain where you'll explore roads of historical value. Included is a visit to Abercromby Street where Red House is situated. This famous landmark is also known as the House of Parliament, built in 1906.

You'll then visit sights such as the Hall of Justice, Trinity Cathedral, Woodford Square and the Queen's Park Savannah which is a 230 acre (900,000 sq. meter) park surrounded by beautiful trees and old gingerbread mansions. Some of these mansions include the Stollmeyer Castle which built in 1904, was reminiscent of the German Romantic style. Also included it the Queen's Royal College which now serves as a secondary school for over 1200 students, the "White Hall" and the Archbishop Palace. Take a drive through the lively shopping streets of Port of Spain. See the Queen’s Park Savannah and the magnificent, seven, colonial style buildings and visit the National Museum (according to availability). Visit Fort George for spectacular panoramic views of Port of Spain. Next, take the North Coast road to the famous Maracas Beach. Make a stop at the lookout point, take some photos of the surrounding bays and even try some local snacks such as pineapple chutney. At the beach, relax, swim or just have a walk on its’ sandy shores. Also, try the famous "bake and fish” sandwich. So tasty!

This tour starts with an overview of the capital city, Port of Spain, which includes a visit to the bustling Independence Square with its’ imposing Central Bank and Brian Lara Promenade, the surrounding shopping streets, Parliament Building, Supreme Court and historic Woodford Square. Also the Queens Park Savannah – known as ‘the world’s largest roundabout.’ This 200-acre recreational park is lined with exotic trees and interesting colonial mansions with intricate architectural designs. The Magnificent Seven are the finest of these. After taking in the beauty of downtown Port of Spain, we'll drive through one of the northern suburb called Maraval. This takes us to the North Coast road that leads to Maracas Bay.

Just before approaching the bay we’d come to a lookout point. Here is where we take in the panoramic views of the Caribbean Sea and the surrounding bays and even enjoy local snacks and freshly seasoned fruit, locally called “chow.” Next, we’ll arrive at the most popular beach in Trinidad, Maracas Bay, which is surrounded by lush green rainforest covered mountains, with a sandy beach lined with coconut trees.

This unspoiled Caribbean scenery is free of high-rise hotels and practically untouched by tourism. Taste a famous "bake and fish," a hot crispy fish sandwich with homemade bread. There are many different sauces from which you can choose, just beware of the very hot pepper! Note, this is not included in the tour price. Basic dressing rooms with changing and toilet facilities are available.

Next, the tour enters the busy suburb of St. James, where you’ll have astounding panoramic views (sometimes as far as Venezuela) at Fort George, which has an elevation of approximately 236 feet above sea level. Enjoy the spectacular views to this historical site where you have the opportunity to see the entire of Port of Spain and the west coast of the island.

We tour along both the Caribbean and Atlantic coasts with scenic stops, circling the entire island. Enjoy the amazing coastal views and tiny villages. Our lunch is at the famous tree house restaurant in Speyside (lunch cost not included). Our tour then takes us to the capital Scarborough, where we visit beautiful Fort King George. Here we enjoy the breeze and panoramic views.

Our first stop is at Fort James, located in Plymouth, the biggest village on the Caribbean side. Here you learn about the history of Tobago and the famous “Mystery Tombstone” and the 17th century ruins. Here the inscriptions on the tombstone baffles all who reads it, and the stories behind it has become a great conversation starter. Enjoy a beautiful view overlooking three bays.  We continue our drive along the Caribbean side, stop at a 200 year old Silk Cotton Tree, then we drive until we reach the Mount Dillon Lookout with its stunning view overlooking Castara, a little sleepy fishing village as well as the untouched coastline. From there we drive downhill into the village of Castara were you have the opportunity to experience a typical fishing village. Our next stop is at one of the most beautiful beaches in the world, Englishman’s Bay, where the rainforest almost meets the green turquoise waters and the untouched bay.

From there we head towards Parlatuvier, another magnificent bay. We can have a wonderful lunch at the famous “Jemma’s Seaview kitchen, a restaurant in Speyside built on the beach and around a tree.(not included in price). Enjoy great local food. Our last stop will be the “center of the North”, Charlottesville. There we will visit “Flagstaff Hill”, where you can enjoy one of the most stunning views Tobago has to offer.

In the afternoon we drive along the Atlantic coast to Scarborough for our last stop at Fort King George. This is the best kept Fort of the island with a beautiful view of our capital Scarborough.
